I wouldn't mind. As long as the wife is making enough to pay the bills.

I would go back to work though once the kids are out of the house - can't stay away from peep show booth maintenance you know,....

Anyway,... poll incoming,...

I would be a stay at home dad in a heartbeat but I make too much money. We have a 8am to 6pm nanny who cleans and takes care of the kids and even mows the lawn now...

Like a BOSS!

I don't think I could take it. Raising the children is the woman's job as they are much better at it. They should stay home and take care of the kids.

I'm a stay at home dad. Best job ever. Wake up and make breakfast for the family, then send my wife off to school. Spend all day playing and interacting with my son. Nef while he is napping.

I think it's healthier for their psyche, and it's healthier for the family too. The man wouldn't feel as much pressure to be a breadwinner, and domestic duties would be shared, as they should be.

What utter nonsense. I don't think I've ever read anything so poorly supported by evidence.

no kids and I make a lot more $ than the girlfriend, so it'll probably never happen.
But, in theory, hell yes I'd do it.

Awesome. Be involved with kids upbringing or go after money. Way to go dad.

Its funny, but I always thought it would be cool to be a stay at home Dad, but now with a 15mth son and 3.5 yrs old daughter, I can tell you...no way!.....I dont know how my wife does it....Isaac is ok and normally entertains himself, but Gabby is very high maintenance....and I would have to do like....house work as well?!

Your poll question(s) and answer(s) don't make sense. "Are you a stay at home dad" is the first question you ask, but it seems your answers are structured so that the first part is answering whether you'd like to be one. So I am just going to pick an answer at random and go with that.
