Got the card in the mail today. Crossing my fingers hoping that it isn't a dud (considering the fact that it's a refurb) Well.. here we go.

Update: Uninstalled old drivers, reboot, shutdown, put new card in, reboot, install new drivers, seems okay. After 15 minutes of desktop usage the system locks up. Locks up on loading a BF2 map. Will try a 3D benchmark in a moment. I'm thinking already that this is one of the bad Recertifieds.

Update 2: crapped out on me and full system locked on loading of 3dmark06. Oh boy...


So here's the brainstorm to fix it for a day, and if nothing works she goes back.

Ahhh not quite - It's running BF2 now alright after I didn't Y dongle my power cord. Straight power, not a problem yet... ( 30 minutes )
 
Happy - what do you end up playing BF2 on for settings if you do play ?

And - now that it's working and it isn't broken, might as well tinker with it - so what's the best OC software out there?

And I'm guessing that the 3300 is because you're at 500mhz not 375?

Will it really oc to that without any artifacts and such? ( i know each card differs )
