Statute of Limitations in Calif for tickets?

Does anybody know what the statute of limitations for failure to appear/failure to pay fine is for California?

Ummm... This is for a FRIEND... yeah...

3 years I think. Maybe 5. But it can be renewed by the courts if they choose, just like IRS is 6 years, but can renew if they choose.

Well, then is there a limit on how long a bench warrant is valid/enforceable??

I don't think bench warrants expire but I could be wrong.

there is no limit on FTA's. They put out a warrant for you and that never goes away. Found that our the hard way.

Yup, they don't go away. Had two unpaid parking tickets originally $50.00 each. in SoCal. 'Been gone for 10 years, then applied for Mortgage loan = BLAM!!!! Came up on the debt report. 10 years interest on the unpaid tickets ended up costing mr $320 to reconcile 🙁 Didn't pay to play dumb.
