Statute of limitations for a auto accidnet?? NC North Carolina

Anybody know the statute of limitations for an auto accident in North Carolina?

I know a lot of states are 2 years but I THINK its 3 in NC. Reason I am asking is its about to be 2 years since my motorcycle accident and of course the insurance company is dragging their feet. So I am trying to find out if I need to file a case soon or can wait another month or so.

if they have dragged their fee for 2 years, what makes you think it will suddenly happen.

they prolly lost the file.
