Started looking at smokeballs stats and cannot understand. I have been flushing 10 WU's a day and only have a average of 6. Here is my machines cracking right now. Duron 800 Athlon 1.2 2-Celron 550's. Using command line client and flushing to orangekid proxy. Always logs on when sending back the results. Machines run all the time, no machine does nothing but crack as I have another machine to do the other things that I do. Seems like a lot of wasted rescorces to me.

Hi Bleep, there are a lot of different columns to look at on those stats pages - are you looking at the "New WU" column?

I doubt it would be an error on Smokeball's end.

Perhaps you had some days at the start when you registered that you didn't dump any WU's?

Maybe I should have made it a little more clear I am looking at the 14 day average. I am not saying that smokeballs stats are wrong they just dont match up with my numbers. Going to get another machine going later in the day thanks to DanC and that will help.

If it wasn't for those zero (0) days, your average would be higher. 😉

Make sure that computer stays on 24/7... 😀

I see the problem but dont know what happend on the zero days. Machines are never shut off and update everyday. I am on a dialup so I update manually.
I guess I will have to keep a little better track of what is going on and try and find what the problem is. It has to be on my end.

Bleep,

Your Duron could do approximately 3.75 - 4.00 WUs @ day and each of your Celerons could do approximately 1.75 WUs @ Day. So you have a potential output of 7.25 - 7.50 WUs @ day. To get those figures you would have to run SETI almost exclusively and nothing else.

Look at the potential of Team Smokeball. Team Smokeball Roster

Notice my last line,* Theoretical Output ? Effective Output closer to 2/3 of Total

You should expect your effective output closer to your potential than the computers on TS which are used by their owners for many unimportant applications. Unimportant = Anything but SETI 😀

Hey Smokeball, don't leave out his Athlon 1.2 he has sandwiched between the Duron and Cels! 😀

<< Duron 800 Athlon 1.2 2-Celron 550's. >>

I'd say that brings him up to the 10 WUs per day he is stating..

Yes, I missed that. I misread it as he had a Duron 800 running at 1.2 GHz which I thought was very weird but decided not to challenge it. LOL 😀

That would have been a really nice OC, wouldn't it? LMAO 😀

Several of my team members have 1.2 GHz TBirds and they are averaging 5Hrs36Min @ WU which would be 4.3 WUs @ day. The Duron should be getting around 2.5 WUs.

4.3 - TB1.2
2.5 - Duron800
1.75 - Celery550
1.75 - Celery550
______

10.3 WUs @ Day

So I see what you are talking about Bleep. That is very weird. It looks like you were doing just just about right on the 6th, 7th, and 8th. Then the zero on the 9th should have had you dumping around 20 WUs on the 10th but you only dumped 13?

Another zero on the 11th followed by three normal days of production including todays 12 WUs. (Got all of this from Soni's Stats)

Well, let's all keep our eyes on this and see what happens tomorrow. 😉
