Stats on Duron/Tbird Ocing?

Hi, just wondering what the success rates are for Durons of the 600-850 mhz range, and Tbird 1ghz+ range. That is, what percentage of durons/tbirds of a given mhz reach whatever MHz when overclocked (only w/ 100 or 133 FSB.) Overclockers.com seems a little extreme w/ its database, perhaps because most OCers probably don't bother to post their results...

My Duron 700 @ 805 (7x115) on a MSI KT7 Pro2a board. Ram is at 150+ FSB CAS2. BTW, i'm too lazy to do the pencil trick again! Peace out.

i see duron 600& 650 doing 1000 easily (i have a 650@1060 1.8V). With the 700-750 i have only gotten like 900-950. The 800 and 850 i know some guys who got 1050+. Tbirds I really don't know. Ask guys like bonkers or compuwiz that is like their field of work. I have gotten 4 750 tbird to 1000+ though.

I've pushed my Duron upt o 1050 (10X105, it will also go 10.5X100, but 10X105 is faster). It is rock solid, and my computer hasn't crashed because of the cpu. It's usually because of some stupid program.

I had to move it all the way to 1.85 to get it working @1050. However, @900MHZ, I had the voltage at a very low 1.60.

Toph99:Its a problem w/ the pro2a? How so? Mine runs my Duron 650@900 and my friend runs his Duron 600@1050. I'm curious...

The duron 600 system I built for my older sister runs great at 950 (though it was sold to me guaranteed to run at 1 GHz)..It most likely doesn't reach 1 GHz because I put too much thermal paste on it (and I didn't want the hassle of removing the FOP32-1 which already was such a pain to install to begin with...latch kept -snapping- off until i installed the heatsink first and then attached the fan afterwards.)

Going to have to build another system for my older brother this summer...I actually want to buy the ram now, (it's such a steal!) but want to hold out on everything else until around June...just wondering if all these 600-700 MHz durons are the only ones that OC well...because I don't really want to get an OEM one to find out it doesn't OC well...or get an 800+, etc and find the same thing.

Any idea if/when AMD will switch to the 0.13 micron process, and if the Durons will be made w/ it? I know they're gonna make their new Tbirds w/ it...but...just imagine how much a Duron could be OC'd if it was manufactured at 0.13 microns instead of 0.18
