I just bought a Dell Radeon X850 XT PE for $90.00 and before making my purchase, I did as much research to see if the card was neutered or ran at stock speeds/settings.

Anyway, I was unsuccessful in finding any info, but for $90.00 I figured that it would at least perform as well as an XT if Dell downclocked the card any.

If any one on this forum purchased a Dell 8400 or 9100 w/ the X850XT PE, could you share with us whether the card runs at stock speeds or is downclocked.

Thanks

Update: Well, I don't think I'll need to worry too much anymore. The order got cancelled. Maybe I shouldn't have posted the deal until the card shipped. Oh well.

Since you bought the card, you have it in your possession now or will in the near future, correct? If so, you can you any one of a plethora of applications to check for clock speed. I prefer ATi Tray Tools.

Here are some clocks for you to compare to:

Radeon X850XTPE: 540Mhz GPU, 1180Mhz memory(590x2)
Radeon X850XT: 520Mhz GPU, 1080Mhz memory(540x2)

Granted, most companies usually round down at least a little bit. So if you have something like 534 and 1174, you will be okay.
