Static sound and stalling during boot up

My computer is working well but I do have one concern. During booting up (when the Windows XP screen is up with the blue line going back and forth) the screen stalls for 2 seconds and the computer makes a staticy noise. The keyboard also lights up (Num Lock, Caps Lock, Scroll Lock).

What do you think the problem is if there is any? My computer is working well though.

Does anyone else have this problem?

This is normal!

XP is just intializing some components.

The static is line noise between the sound card, and the speakers. I don't get static, but my key lights do blink....FWIW

I would ignore this, and enjoy your WindowsXP experience
