Static on one speaker

I have the Klipsch ProMedia 5.1 (not Ultra) speaker system and an SB Audigy. There both 3 years old now. When I crank the volume up to about 70 I get static on my front left speaker. The higher I go the louder the static gets. I tried switching the speakers and the wires with the speakers and all kinds of things to figure out what was causing this. I found out my speakers were fine.

So if it's not the speaker(s), maybe it's the subwoofer, or the sound card, or something else. What could be causing this?

I tried plugging it into the outlet but there was still static. When I bang the back of my subwoofer on the floor (bad idea, I know) the amount of static changes. And when I have a big bass song playing at 70 volume banging the s**t out of the woofer, then stop the song, there's no static for a couple seconds. but then it comes back

Soo yeah, it's probably the subwoofer to blame.
