Static IP address?

Do I need to have a static IP address (very expensive) to run a Wolfenstein gameserver online? I'm pretty sure they all go through a proxy server,yes? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Usually, even if you DO have a dynamic ip, it will last for quite a while. So YES you can and not worry about it too much. Just make sure you DO NOT turn off or reset your modem...or there it goes

That's what I thought. I never turn the thing off anyway so I guess I'm golden. Thanks for confirming my suspicions.

Or maybe you can use a tool like dyndns or dns2go...
