Well this past winter, I've shocked my Razer keyboard and a Logitech gaming mouse, enough to warrant a replacement. I usually try to be more careful, but you know how that goes.
In the case of my keyboard, the metallic touch plate for the media and backlight controls. It caused Media Player to constantly open.
In the case of my mouse, it had a metallic scroll wheel. The right-mouse button fused with the left-mouse, and some leds shorted out.
My replacements - I made sure there were no exposed metallic parts, and I now use a humidifier.
