Statement of Intent?

Well....I received my acceptance for graduate study in the fall. In the letter it stated that I must submit in writing, if i wish to attend the school.

What exactly do I write? Just a one sentence letter saying i wish to enroll?

Ha....

I just found it odd that i had to submit something in writing. Usually its just a form you sign or you go online to click a box or something.

I just don't know how formal it has to be.
