Remember, folks, it isn't only the religious right that is opposed to porn.

The liberal feminists are radically opposed to porn as well.

YES! Why won't anyone think of the children!? :p

Anyway, who the fvck are they to deside what a person who isn't harming anyone does? Man, these people really need to stop trying to legislate morality. Why won't they just leave us pervs alone!? Gah!
YOU HAVE TO TYPE IT IN CAPS TO REALLY MAKE YOUR POINT ABOUT THE CHILDREN....AND THINKING OF THEM.

Your wife is not the norm. It is a fact that liberal feminists are opposed to porn.

Well, he is an elected official. Perhaps he represents the views of his constituency.

Uh huh. Tell that to feminist women's groups who try to have porn banned, adult bookstores closed and porn mags removed from mainstream stores.

hah the bush administration would like porn to be outlawed as well. that's a pretty sharp contrast with all the "free speech" propaganda they spout. :disgust:

When has the Bush Admin attempted to pass a ban on porn?

No not kiddy porn but adults depicted as being teens. So like hustler "barely legal" or something like that could be a target...They want to force every single web page and picture to be registered in databases, failure to comply would result in huge fines and jail time. I guess it's not an outright ban but it's seriously infringing on free speech...

Then again though ashcroft is resigned so i dunno Gonzales agenda is but I'd assume he'd be as extreme since he plays to the conservative base. I've stopped paying attention to politics for the since the election heh.

Another extremely biased article. The fact is, that is not a ban, but cases against content providers who depict illegal sexual acts (mostly kiddie porn and bestiality).

They've been prosecuting folks like this for 40+ years. This is nothing new and it is NOT a ban on porn.
