But why isn't it likely? Because of bad and/or irresponsible decisions on the part of the individual or because the system is really so stacked against that person?

You collectively left part out of my upbringing and have no idea how things were for me. But really, that part doesn't matter, the above is what is relevant.

Hate to break up the cheer lead circle jerk, I know you're all having a good time. But, post after post dancing around the subject. Shocking.

We addressed the subject, you are just too stupid to know it.

Since you are a grammar expert, I'm curious about your use of double spaces.

Sometimes it's the person, sometimes it's the system. The point is that you don't punish the people who were born into tough circumstances simply to get at the people who aren't pulling their weight. And if you're a kid, you don't really have control over who your parents are and where you go to school, do you?

The problem with leaving out part of your upbringing is that you were purposefully obtuse as to what that meant. How were you a minority? Are you non-white or LGBT? Were you struggling to get by? Because being a middle-class person in an upper-class neighborhood isn't suffering by itself.

You're losing it answering your own post.

I put up examples you failed to acknowledge

Are you claiming minorities are treated equally by the criminal justice system??

Studies time and time again have proven job applicants with "black" sounding names get significantly fewer callbacks then applicants with "white" sounding names.

Did you happen to notice all of Trump's appointments in the cabinet and West Wing. It's affirmative action for whites people.

You have little room to bitch

Today I think minorities are treated fairly, but I know that wasn't always the case. I'm as against that as you. I'm for ending the war on drugs. I'm against crap like stop and frisk. I like our bi-partisan criminal justice reform.

That study is absolute bunk. Look at this. In the study some black names had call back rates significantly higher than some of the white names. Why do employers hate Todd, but love Brad and Jermaine? Fuggin Toddists! Every objective piece I've ever read on these silly resume call back studies shows them to be nothing more than liberal academia bullshit.

Trump employed white people? Must be discrimination, manufacture that racism! I bet he beat Ben Carson.

If being a white guy in Wisconsin isn't the very definition of minority, I don't know what would be.

Why are you posting right now? Shouldn't you be protecting your homestead from the vicious and endless waves of violent Mexican coyotes that are charging our borders? I mean these things have to be up there with the chupacabra in their threat of national security.

I think the white population where I lived was something like 40-50% of the overall. You're purposely dumbing this down to a level that isn't honest.

It is of no importance what Trump says day to day in his speech. A con man criminal cult leader says whatever he needs to say to keep his cult in a state of hypnosis. There will be an audience that is uneffected and a bunch of clucking chickens.

Wasn't able to watch the speech when it came on that evening.

Looks like I didn't miss out on anything important...

Trump says he wants to eradicate HIV in America, leftist on AT P&N assumes that means Trump admin wants to murder people.

The left today for you. "Orange man bad!"

Let me ask you something. Since Trump claims to want to eradicate HIV, why did he disband/eliminated the White House advisory panel on AIDS, or propose massively cutting funding to the CDC, NIH, NHS, research grant funding....you know, all those things that might be useful to doing what he claims to want to achieve? Hmmmmm? He's not going to get far in this endeavor with no one having any funds to accomplish that goal.

Trump calling for unity is like a Kardashian calling for chastity.

Immigrants are coming to kill us, the economy is great, don’t investigate me, our allies are treating us badly … Like Trump’s previous congressional addresses, this is a standard Trump stump speech with better grammar.

20 to 1 he didn't write a single word of it. As for the rest of his cult..

Everyone that disagrees with you guys is a troll to you. At least the liberals here have mostly stopped suggesting I"m a Russian bot. It is a good first step back to reality.

They, at least, get paid. You're just a free propaganda parrot. Vladi and the god emperor *love* folks like you.

Glad to see Trump talk about late term abortion. A step in stopping the racist eugenics program started by Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger (a champion of Democratic values).

Funny how you people don't give two farts in a hurricane about the kid once it's here huh?

This more your speed?

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/man-sa...-yard-police-find-remains-of-missing-toddler/

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — An Albuquerque man says his landscaper requested permission to bury a cat in his backyard, but police looking for the landscaper's missing 1-year-old daughter found her body instead.

Thomas Dunn told KOAT-TV that 26-year-old David Zuber called in late December and said he needed to bury a cat. Dunn said that was OK because his family uses the yard as a pet cemetery.
But the family was shocked in early January when authorities showed up and found Anastazia Romero's body buried in a trash bag inside a duffel bag and under a dog's remains.

Police began looking for the child after a relative of Zuber said he had said the child drowned several weeks ago. Zuber allegedly told police where to find the child's remains.

Zuber and 23-year-old Monique Romero, Zuber's wife and the child's mother, were arrested and accused of charges that include child abuse resulting in death.
Police say Romero admitted she left her daughter in the bathtub with her two-year-old sister, reports CBS affiliate KRQE. Zuber came home and found the one-year-old dead in the tub, and allegedly said they buried the girl at Dunn's house because they were afraid they'd be in trouble.

Zuber is facing additional charges for allegedly burying the girl to hide the crime, the station reports. Both Zuber and Romero have been released pending trial, KRQE reports.

At least she didn't get an abortion.. Right?

That story is a bit much for shortbusspyder to process. He can't move beyond lying and slogans to more nuanced positions that actually have a place in the real world.

Maybe someone will do well-wishing, hope and pray. Trump won't but maybe he can hire someone at another's expense. We know it is nothing but talking for people like him to use in a false defense.

Why Spydie is using this isn't clear except to try to get a rise out of people. Trump isn't capable of much which isn't destructive. His constant support of attacks on the environment is an example. 2018 was the 4th warmest on record and Trump thinks the severe winter disproves GW because he doesn't know and does not want to know anything. He's critical of intelligence reports he hasn't read and so on. There are foolish people, there are stupid ones, criminals and more. For the first time in our history we have them all in one person in the Office. We also have people who embrace all of that. Go figure.

Trump already messed with their minds. He's just keeping 'em tuned up. Truth isn't truth in post-truth Trumplandia. They only hear what they want to hear.
