Look around XDA. Turns out that the pre-release claim that all US carriers were locked was BS. T-Mo and Sprint are unlocked, again, and the duopoly from hell is locked. Also there's a MetroPCS version that's identical to the T-Mo to the point of being Odin-flashable with T-Mo firmware. (Just carrier-locked differently on the SIM.)

So... I guess you non-Verizon flashaholics have options still.

I got my S5 from my jobs Verizon account and popped my T-Mobile Sim in it and added the apn settings and get full lte. Wish I could put T-Mobiles firmware on it though.
