I just thought I would toss some figures your way of some interesting details of the past 4 weeks and future possibilities toward #1.

When I signed on to this project just under 4 weeks ago I was the 24th member of the TeAm and the total number of nodes was approximately 36. At that time there were only approximately 5 members actively crunching for D2OL, and prior Baldy18, Chipster22, and Ghettofob were carrying the majority of the team on his shoulders. At the time with all of us working our daily output was around 200-250 per day. Contrast this if you will to the DPC who has 118 members running 830 nodes, and crunching over 2000 Cands per day. It was a pretty pathetic situation considering AT is one of the most powerfull forums in the world.

But thanks to the finishing of two projects, RC5 and ECCp109, we have been blessed with a large movement toward our D2OL mission, and with that the added compliments of also moving rapidly up the World ALL TIME TOP TEAMS category.

On that fatefull day 4 weeks ago our team was 20th with approximately 25,000 total Candidates completed.

Today we now have 63 members, 41 active members with a team total of 143 nodes, and our daily total running now at almost 2800 Candidates, and a World ranking of 12th with nearly 54000 Candidates, and a World daily Ranking of 1st! We currently rank 3rd for the past week and closing in fast on first there as well.

Currently at todays pace, we are about 500 daily ahead of DPC. At this rate we will require 712 days to catch them. However if we were to just double our much smaller teams active membership, we would have 40 fewer members, 600 fewer nodes, and still catch the DPC in 107 days! W00t!

So the word of the day is THANKS TO EVERYONE! We are extremely gratefull for what we already have, and for the benefits that you are doing for mankind! :)

However, if we do seek a goal of being truly number one, lets not stop.. not for even a short while. Recruit when possible, help out your fellow TeAm mates anyway you can, be supportive of the program and each member, root for the home team, and lets double this team up and make it to the top by what say you?

Im hoping for March :D

Thanks TeAm! Congratulations on a job VERY WELL DONE! :) I am very happy to be a proud member of TeAm AnandTech!

Here is the TeAm stats page. Just click on the TeAm name for Total Stats and individual names for individual stats. You can also click the stats link for a world wide breakdown. :)

Hi Soni, it appears that Linux brings anywhere from 25-75 percent better performance from what I have read. Im going to setup about 3 nodes with Linux to try it out that way in the coming weeks. :)

Well I'm not the only one who has carried this team on its shoulders before. I know GhettoFob did it before me and Chipster22 at one time also. We have been luck that this project has alowed us to stay in the game even when we neglected it. It won't let us do that anymore though. The project is now ours for the taking or we can sit back and let oppriunity pass us by.
