In all seriousness, this is funny because Sony has been laughing at MS for the 360 overheating. I hope whoever drops $600 plus doesn't get a bricked system, otherwise Sony is gonna be in a world of hurt. Even worse will be people who drop $1500 on ebay to get it on launch day! Afterall, wasn't sony saying that their systems wouldn't have the same overheating problems as the 360?

I'm no Sony fanboy, but you are correct, it isn't final hardware/software...... However, Sony should really make sure their sh|t works right before showing it to the world, and set up sufficient cooling before hand.

Then again, the 360 has never excited me... and the Wii has just disappointed me with the graphics and game selection so far (apart from Super Smash Brothers)...

Did you not see the "/software" on the end of that? That means and/or. As far as I'm concerned, everything is still in a beta phase until it's released in November. I hate Sony just as much as the guy, and I absolutely loathe how they are handling the PS3 so far, but atleast give them a fair shake at retail, and do not judge them before anyone has their hands on what we know to be final production units and software.
