The history of the grounds is actually kind of interesting... but yeah, they didn't think that one through very well. What amounts to free advertising for something the president makes profit from should be a no-no, particularly on a government website.

Now think for just one second what the right wing reaction would have been had the State Department been promoting the Clinton Foundation. And remember, the Clinton Foundation was a nonprofit dedicated to helping people, not a for-profit enterprise. They would have gone absolutely ballistic.

Shockingly enough conservatives don't care about corruption either so long as it's their guy who is corrupt.

No they wouldn't and you can't prove it. Even if you could prove it, fuck you because you're a liar. A stupid liar because you can't even understand this simple common sense logic.

Was amusing watching a GOP Congressman on CNN this morning arguing that Trump doesn't need to promote his businesses cause he is already rich. He doesn't need more money.

In what world does anyone who is already rich not want more money? Especially Trump?!

And they pulled the posts from the site too.

I wish the person interviewing that Congressman had responded "The rich don't need more money? Good to hear. So you're telling us officially that you'll oppose all tax cuts for the wealthy from now on?"

There's no reason to hide it anymore. Their base doesn't care. Blatant outright corruption.

I have yet to see a story about one of his many screw ups on here that wasn't responded to with "she would have been worse!" or "you lost snowflake, get over it". Literally all they care about is their "team" won.
