Christ, why don't we just put Dennis Miller in charge of the State Department briefings? He can stand up there and tell each and every country in NATO to F-Off.

Oh great, Bush is calling names to the EU member countries.

Perhaps Bush will buy us another Cold War as we had with the Soviet Union.

I wouldn't blame the EU one damn bit. Would you EU guys PLEASE band together, come over here to the US, and take out the Bush Regime please? Just as Bush did to Iraq.

Such diversionary measures have been a popular method since Hitler" she told a regional newspaper ...

I did not mean to compare the personalities Bush and Hitler with each other, only their methods."

1)I admit that it was still uncalled for but she didn't say Bush = Nazi
2)she was told by Shroeder to stfu or face the consequenses. Bush never said to one of the US officials to be more diplomatic, in fact he supports what they are saying

big difference

I don't like Bush that much, but I don't think these problems are completely his fault.

Read the last line in this article.

Only Sweden openly expressed any regrets when faced with an apparent Bush win.

That's a bad way to start off with a new administration :) That was just Sweden, but it seems everyone is acting childish nowadays... US, Europe, Canada, etc.

Om ok, whatever...

If you'd crawl out from under that rock of yours, you might realize that the "truth" is that we've been called "Nazi's" for quite some time now - -

This is nothing new to the current administration.

Anytime the USA decides to put some muscle behind its words, you have all the little tree-hugging, birkenstock-wearing, bleeding heart, liberal/socialist hippie peaceniks that come out of the woodwork and try to somehow equate what the USA is doing to the mass genocide of the Holocaust.

It happened with the latest Gulf war, the first Gulf war, the attack on Afghanistan - and any number of conflicts stretching back to the Clinton administration and far previous.

Not to worry. Bush and homeland security are forming an SS to take care of it.

Moonie, why do you hate yourself so? This seething hatred for Bush causing you to utter these ridiculous attacks and insults is obviously a relfection of the hatred you experienced in the womb and early childhood. You are dead inside. I believe Peter Shephard can help you, seek his guidance here.

Actually, the SS predates Homeland Security. I don't understand why people are always dumping on DHS...dump on Jim West and Artemis if you really hate the SS...

And the chocolate makers fire back.

France and Germany reject US Iraq plans

Only they aren't hurling stupid, childish insults.

They're gonna' let Bush know what the consequences of his actions really are. For the first time in his life.

I hope Bush likes chocolate. ;)

"US Secretary of State Colin Powell defended the resolution, saying it was drafted "in a way that deals with the concerns that leaders such as President Chirac and Chancellor Schroeder have raised in the past and if they have suggestions, we would be more than happy to listen to their suggestion"."
----------------------------------------------
Is he saying Bush will do the belly crawl?

Now now, Corn, if you knew anything important, you would know that the answer lies in yourself. It's the same reason for me as for you. But unfortunately what I know can help you only indirectly. In order to understand you have to feel. Of course if you want to make Shephard feel better you can send him some money, or you can send it to me instead. My price is reasonable, I only charge all of your dreams.

*sigh* There goes any semblance of class the US had.

ACTYALLY, I THINK WE LOST THAT THE FIRST TIME BUSH OPENED HIS MOUTH.

OT- I was watching TV last night and an ad for the upcoming made-for-TV movie about Bush/911 came on. What was one of the scenes they showed during the ad? Bush stumbling over a word while giving a speech. :)

I'd be for that, at least he'd spice up the comments a bit and make them funny.
