Well, that "impossible situation" appears to have happened: 18 year old girl and 14 year old girl.

Florida teen rejects plea deal in controversial same-sex case

Lots of stories about female accused parties with male victims, but I haven't seen one of these -- then again it's 3am.

Already got a long thread about this in P&N that started here and was moved. Here.

Seniors with freshmen and being accused of crimes is a national tragedy and perversion of justice. 4 year difference is nothing.

If simply turning 18 makes it wrong (it doesn't, but I'm just saying), and turning 18 makes you eligible for jail, then the law should require people to graduate before they turn 18 and thus keep 18+ year-olds separated from the sub-18 year olds. It's as simple as that, but the law, and justice, never quite seem to match. 18 year olds are still kids and it's wrong for school systems as a whole to let them intermingle with people that, upon turning 18 they suddenly became eligible for jail for a relationship that wasn't illegal at 17.364.

Well if it's two girls, two guys or a girl and a guy, there shouldn't be any difference right?
