I would buy it again on my PC if I could transfer my PS4 profile over. I am actually enjoying the game with the exception of the damn controller.
 
Trying to kamikaze into Darth Vader with an X Wing is tough, but when you nail it and scream "ADMIRAL ACKBAR" while you do, it's totally sweet.
 
Ugh A wings are some serious bull@#$%. How the hell is a tie fighter's boost supposed to compare against on demand temporary invincibility?

My cousin enjoyed himself watching me attempt to at least get the gun to stop aiming at the ground.This was on his PS3 controller.

How i went from pwning on the OG XBOX and Halo 1 to suddenly being unable to shoot a wall in front of me at 10 feet is beyond me.Pc Gaming.:thumbsup:

I'm getting better. But my mind knows what to do, is telling my hands but it is just not working. Sucks dying as it is, really sucks when it's because you can't control well enough.

I don't see a reason why I can't play it on both. I am willing to buy two versions of the game. Just don't want to rank up a second time.

Related note, my wife for the first time was watching Star Wars, we were on episode V two days ago. They were flying over Hoth trying to find Luke and Han. She said, "they don't crash like you do". Sonofabitch!!!
 
Is there anyway to pre-download this game so it can be gifted with the activation code?

Is logging into origin with the code the only way?
 
Finding this game a little hard in sequential gameplay.
I set the controls which are not operating to a great efficiency.
I wish games like this were a straight link up to the xbox controller on initial set up , can,t someone just add the code attch for this all game upgrade?

My game worked automatically with my 360 controller from day one. Then again I only use it for flying.
 
So I ended up buying it anyways for the PC after already owning it for the PS4. It was on sale and I wanted my damn kb+mouse. Still play it on PS4 with a friend and my son, otherwise on the PC it is.

It keeps kicking me from games giving me a 'loss to EA server' message, which sucks because then I don't get any points. Happened several times with the bonus going. VERY annoying. Still I am level 9 after 2 days... 23 levels behind the PS4. Sure wish they weren't lame and let me transfer over accounts. This is the one time I would pay to level up/get weapons. Because I already got them by playing.
 
So according to the tracker there are 17,503 people right now playing on the PC. Yet I can't find one damn game to get into?! Googling shows that EA suggests opening up some ports, and that is the problem. Funny that other games work fine, even BF4. They need to fix this shit, it's annoying. Anyone else having problems finding games to play? With 17k I know there are some games available.

Meanwhile on the PS4 there are 117,768 people right now. Guess I'll play that... ugh.

The stupid matchmaking system is the worst thing about the game, it desperately needs a server browser for the PC version. Why they havent integrated Battlefront into Battlelog confounds me. 😵

I bought the game on the 28th. Installed it, tried all day to get into a game. I would either get dumped into an empty server, or in a server with 2 other people & need 10 more to start. Tried again on 29th, still no games. Tried the solo missions, played that for 2 hours & uninstalled & got a refund. Terrible, terrible, terrible matchmaking system. The least they could do would be adding a "Play Now" option, so it can dump you in ANY game mode.
 
Yeah, I have had the same problems. Extremely annoying. I was unaware Jakku was free for PC, I downloaded that. It appears that if you don't have that, they split you into two groups. Most probably do have it installed, and can only play with others who do.

I have more luck finding games, but still not good. It does need a server browser, would be so much better. Could save it as a fav, etc. Really annoying and lazy on their part.

Do you use a controller? I find it impossible to do anything in aerial vehicles with the KB/M, everything is totally opposite from BF4.
 
I do and it's my favorite part of the game. I pretty much lead the scoreboards unless an equally good player gets a hero ship. Then i'm #2. I don't care so much for the ground missions, I get killed sooner than I can blink in that stuff.
 
A month since the last reply, quite telling. I caved today because it dropped to $30. Still don't feel like I got enough game for my money. I'll let the dust settle on this thread again but if you are reading this from the future, wait til it drops to $20 and send me powerball numbers
 
Yeah, I only got it because I had a gamestop gift card from 2 years ago and wanted to use it. Other than looking nice this game is flat. And I am a huge SW fan.
