I just recently installed a new motherboard and processer. When I start-up the computer It first says "No Sync." Then continue with the start-up evently ends up to the window where you can pick from safe mode or normal startup. Is there something I need to do with the BIOS if you know please help.
The motherboard is a abit AV8 with a Athlon 64 3400+
 
According to my understanding of a prior thread at AT, in another forum, this involves an upgrade without any preliminary preparation of the OS installation. The OM doesn't provide background; possibly this is from a participant for whom English is not a birth language. Modern OS setups simply do not allow wholesale changes of the nature described without either a reformat/reinstall or various preventive adjustments to the operating system before the old motherboard is removed.
