Startup display oddity?

Every once in a while when I turn on my computer in the morning the margins on the sides pull in about 1/2". If I do a re-start it displays normally. This happens maybe once a week. Any one know why?

P4 2.53, 1 G ram, ASUS P4P800,NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X, XP Pro.

I had a similar issue with mine. Yours may be a weakening solder joint as well. Or maybe it's something else.
