I have a Dell Inspiron notebook which came with Widnows XP Home so I upgraded to XP Pro. Everything went fine and I began installing all my apps and configuring it to my preferences. Now, I've got a problem where after I log into Windows there is something causing a long pause before everything else loads up.
I tried opening task manager during this pause and sorted by CPU to see if I can find what program was using up CPU during this time but I found nothing- during this time all CPU is on System idle.
What else can I try to do to find out what's causing the delay? It's seriously about a one minute delay and most of my auto-startup programs like my Intel wireless networking have to wait until this delay is over.
