Psychonauts for $2.50, amazing third person action/platformer with a good story and characters.

BF3 premium for $15 is pretty nice for anyone still holding out on it.

Some of those deals no to hot. Mount and Blade: Warband is still that expensive? Wow... It came out in 2010.

Also, there are a lot of Nancy Drew games. Who even plays those?

This was on sale for about $7.50 during steam iirc.

Civ IV with expansions possibly, definitely not Civ V with expansions.

However there is a Civ V "Gold" and Civ V "Gold Complete"/"Complete" something like that which seem to share almost the exact same picture but are differently priced. Only the latter includes G&K and BNW.

OH snap. Yea the Gold is priced at $30 and that's what I saw. The bundle deal is shown right below it for $30 also. That is a very good deal!

Yep, so no Kingdoms of Amalur for me.

You're missing out...it's an awesome game. And Origin is pretty minimal software these days (it's no worse than Steam, especially if you only launch it when you want to launch Amalur).

It isn't so much that it uses Origin, it that I refuse to purchase anything made or published by EA, Activision/Blizzard, or Ubisoft.
Instead of just whining about how bad those three companies are I do the right thing and simply don't buy their products.
It has meant I've missed out on several games I would like to play (KoA included) but that is the price you have to pay for it.

Is Mass Effect 3 for $5.99 a win? I have never played any of the series.

Actually, what I am wondering is if this is the best Mass Effect.

Mass Effect 2 is the best Mass Effect. ME3 is like the Dragon Age 2 of Mass Effects. Dumbed down, simpler, more explosions, less character development, a story that seems thrown together, and slightly better looking. Mass Effect 1 is from another time and so reviewed as a game from that older time, it's good. But ME2 sets the bar so high that ME3 just can't live up to the idea of coming after it.

That said, ME3 is good. I think you'd be better served playing ME2 first, though. It'll make more sense.

i htought ME1 was the best of the three.

the action was very well done in ME3 though.

I think Stacking is a good game only $3.75. Costume Quest same price, not sure about recommending it, I think it'll get mixed reactions.
