I found this interesting......

A riveting clothing advertisement on a Times Square billboard depicts a female Marine veteran in athletic wear hogtying a man who appears to be President Donald Trump in front of the White House.

The ad has already been slammed in a tweet by Donald Trump Jr., who called reporters “hypocrites” on Thursday for failing to criticize it.

The 30-foot-high ad features a Trump look-alike being trussed up with red, white and blue rope as the vet steps on his face. The ad was unveiled in Manhattan last week by Oregon-based athletic clothing company Dhvani.

Dhvani called the ad “metaphorical,” adding on Twitter that it “does NOT and will NEVER condone violence of ANY KIND.” It’s intended to “artistically express the frustrations we believe many women share,” the statement added.

It’s an attack on the Trump administration’s blocking federal funds to Planned Parenthood health providers who refer patients for abortions, Dhvani CEO and founder Avi Brown told The Associated Press.

“We are on the right side of history,” Brown declared. “The billboard is an expression of our First Amendment right. Its art is a symbol ... This is about taking our country back.”

Other ads in the Dhvani campaign show clothing models taping Trump’s mouth — a reference to the Trump administration’s gag rule blocking reproductive health care information.
He unilaterally has created a gag rule that you cannot refer patients with reproductive information about abortion, sex ed, and contraception,” Brown told AP. “He’s gagging doctors and nurses, and telling them what they can and cannot tell patients.”

Can't a fascist prick savor supporter produced homages featuring mass shootings without having to endure advertisements magnitudes tamer?

Damn libruhls. So unfair for the very stable genius and his unmatched wisdom, just disgraceful.

All these lashings and poking fun at the President, mocking etc...and he will never understand that the problem is HIM.

The POTUS has always been a target to some degree for comedians and political correspondents from 'the other side'. But I don't know if any president has ever had quite this much backlash, on almost a daily basis.
He cannot fathom the idea that it's due to his own actions, outbursts, and conduct. Gotta be everyone else. Ahhh...the mind of a narcissist.

"They really hate this country. Believe me, I know because I'm so great and wise. They'll destroy our beloved great country and must be stopped! They're violent lunatics!"

To the Reich, this goes too far, whereas when Obama was President it was perfectly ok for them to parade around with an Obama being lynched prop, pictures of Obama as a monkey, pictures of Obama as UBL, and fake Kenyan birth certificates with Obama's name on them, among other things.

Um, no. This was never "OK." You are ridiculous.

[edit]

You know why you remember those things? Because they created a controversy. It was not "OK."

This is the way brands are going, because older conservative America is committing economic suicide and younger liberal America is becoming more affluent.
It's a one sided bet.

I don't remember you saying anything about it not being ok when Obama was President, and we had countless threads on P&N about the Tea Party rallies were the stuff I mentioned was taking place. I don't remember you calling out Trump or the people that pushed the Obama was born in Kenya and thus he can't be our President bullshit. Now that it is Trump on the receiving end of this kind of shit is when the right has a fit over this kind of shit.

Stop this.

I mostly wasn't active in P&N.

If I was, why do I need to participate in threads and state the obvious just to avoid your condemnation? Who even knows if I ever participated in such a discussion. For all I know I might have posted condemnation somewhere. I wouldn't remember because it would be a gratuitous and unnecessary post that just states the obvious. Waste of time.

Should I join every thread about racism and say "racism is bad?"

Racism is bad, by the way.

As I recall quite clearly, those things didn't generate any controversy among all the Republicans posting them on my FB page. In fact, they were not only OK with them, they were also very vocal that you must be some kinda PC-loving, free speech-hating, tree-hugging, gun-grabbing, participation prize-demanding, pinko commie liberal socialist if you dared to freely speak your opinion that their racist memes were in poor taste.

And BTW, I find the ad in the OP to be in poor taste as well.

It's amazing what a simple letter change can do to people's thought processes.
