Truth be told I had fewer problems with Oblivion.
Of course, that was two whole generations of hardware later.........

After reading this thread I grabbed Morrowind and installed that morrowind overhaul mod. The game runs at 30fps for me at 2560x1600 and dips to 20 at times, and looks not all that great :thumbsdown:

Oblivion has never crashed on me, had a quest randomly screw up so I can't complete it, had someone get stuck somewhere so that I couldn't complete a quest, had someone die, but the game didn't realize it, so the quest still stays active, or had hoards of randomly appearing cliff racers attack me, but I've sure encountered those things in Morrowind.
