Starting Up A Wireless Company

I'm getting ready to retire in 3 1/2 years. Going to spend 6 months in Cocoa, Florida and the other six months in Northern, VA each year. Every 3 months I got o FLA for two weeks . I want to start up a concern that would install wireless routers primarily to share a broadband connection. My target is seniors plus small businesses. I'm in it for the opportunity to help others, especially as many seniors and business are headed to laptops and make some $.

I installed a wirless router in my house using D-Link. Looking to see what other guys have done in this area: Like what equipment to buy, their expefrience, etc. Are antennas, repeaters and Access Points really needed. Any comments and or critcisms welcome.

Yes, only the one at my house. However, I have learned a lot since then. Do you think it wouwld be worht it. I am in it for a life time expeeince; $ are secondary.

well, professional level stuff isn't like the stuff you setup at your house... are antenna's repeaters and stuff needed? yes, sometimes depending on the situation, for example we had to do one for a 11Mbps 6mile link across a land reserve not allowing cables, and had some sand dunes, so a linksys or dlink wont cut it, you need yagi or parabolic antennas and something you can trust like an aironet.
