Not sure what you mean by lose, but it looks like I just broke up with my Fiance 2 days ago(strange to see your post here). I have broken up with here many times before(over the course of 7+ years) but this looks like its it. We have a house together and everything. My plan is really just get drunk and stay that way for a week or so and try to meet somone new to take my mind off it. Eventually all memories fade...
