Starting to plan the Honeymoon.... Ideas on where to go?

Fiancee and I are getting married next spring and i've decided to take on planning the honeymoon. Still not sure what type of vacation were leaning towards (relaxing, adventure, sightseeing, etc..), so im currently just looking at options at the moment...

Danielle and I both have been fortunate enough to have already explored most of Western Europe, Central America and the Caribbean, so were turning our sights to place's we've yet to encounter.

These are places i'm currently looking at;

1) Greek Isles, specifically the Blue Palace in Crete (http://www.starwoodhotels.com/luxury/search/hotel_detail.html?propertyID=1487)and possibly Santorini and surrounding isles.

2) Halstatt, Austria and the surrounding Lake District

3) Scandanavia and Denmark



Any recommendations? We were fortunate enough to pick up a 50% off Starwood Hotels coupon for up to 5 nights (includes the following - Westin, W, Luxury Collection, etc...) so right now price isn't a major concern. And no, were not planning on doing ALL of those, just looking to pick one.


 
your so-far choices are so out of this world.... wow! I would love to go to austria!
although, the greek isles sound magical too. I have been told Santorini is amazingly beautiful.

I was going to recommend Jamaica (where my wife and I went), but after seeing the places you are looking at already, that might be a little low-rent for you. I think you'll have a great time in any of those places. I'd pick the first one myself.
 
I'm going to Bermuda at the end of June with my wife-to-be but your ideas sound awesome. I've always wanted to go to Greece.
 
We went to Fiji for our honeymoon last year so sorry no help there 🙂

I guess the first question was what you want to do on your honeymoon, seems like depending on your choice, you'll be doing different things.

I've been to Jamaica twice now and loved it both times... Beautiful country and friendly people. The only downside was the pushy vendors, but you get that in quite a few countries...
 
Fergot to mention, neither of us have been to Italy yet, but im not 100% sure we want to do Italy right now... I think it would be a bit more "sightseeing" than were looking for right now...
 
europe.. all good choices 😎 i think i would go for the greek isles.

btw i've still got that picture from oxford that you sent me as my wallpaper 😀
