Starting DirectX Programming

I'm looking to learn how to program a small game with DirectX for windows.

I haven't found much in the way of simple tutorials, but I've managed to get a lot of info from

They have links to some old tutorials, and the Microsoft developer areas, but I'm looking for some basic source code, nothing too fancy.

Does anyone know of any websites that have good examples, or tutorials that are just simple, just enough to setup
a back buffer, flip them and display bitmaps.
