starting community college

I want to get a jump on college so I thought I would start off this summer. I wanted to do a class like English 101 or criminal justice. My friends say there is a big work load which I'm willing to take since the classes are only 5 weeks long. Do you guys have any recommendations for getting back on track?

Girls. DHI. you know the rest.

Edit: Actually taking Physics for summer session part time. It's a big cram fest (summer classes). Get your notecards ready!

It's not much work if you are prepared ofr the class. However, if you ar etalking english, be prepeared to write lots of papers.

5 week classes are alot of work. If you get behind you are toast. English classes will avg 1 major paper a week, other classes will avg 1 major test a week. Its 15 weeks of material crammed into 5 weeks, each class is 2 hours a day 4-5 days a week. Science classes can be brutal.

Either an entry level English or Math class would be my personal suggestion calisoldier. Science classes during the 5 week summer sessions aren't a joke, especially for someone who has been out for school for 3 years. I hope this helps and good luck
