Starting an EBAY store

My dads friend has a business in town which isn't doing too well. I was told it's a store similiar to "A dollar store". The guy was thinking of selling the business but wants to try out selling on the internet before he thinks about deciding to close.

He asked me if I can help him out by starting an online store thru EBAY. Does anyone have an EBAY store? Im not really sure how I get traffic to my store since it will be new and unknown.

Any help is appreciated.

You will want to have an established eBay account, and I would not open an eBay store alone. Also do auctions.

Also isn't having a store still an auction?

a dollar store? Itll probably cost too much in fees to sell on ebay.
