The small business I manage is finally going to have a presense on the web. Nothing fancy, a site has already been designed, all I need to do is find a hosting company and get it set up. What are my options with hosting? Is the $7 good enough for a business card type site?

This is uncharted seas for me and I'm sure I'm not providing all the information you need, so please be nice with the n00b comments.

An inexpensive hosting plan should be fine. There are many choices out there. I host several sites with icdsoft.com and they have been very good for me. I think there most basic plan is $6 per month and they have Linux servers and tons of features.

DeviousTrap was giving out free accounts to members here, check out his post in the OT forum. That's probably enough to set you up for now since you aren't really looking to drive much traffic there. $7 a month will buy you a good amount of hosting, probably more than your needs, based on your description, you should be able to get by for $30-40 a year.
