420 would be a recognized holiday, but thats the only drug that would be legalized and everything else would be on how bad i think it is and i would actually listen to studies unlike the us governemtn...
i would also have a very good democracy but i would have some veto power, but never abuse it... it would be like a parliamentry democracy... but yah, i would make the last two years of high school major based ie, if you wnna be a bussiness major, you would take business classes all the last two years to make you good at what you do...

monarchy
take the constitution of the us and keep it that way.
streamline tax system and then raise taxes.
let people do what they want until they break a major law, then come down hard
flag burning is illegal(some forms of expression will be outlawed obviously)

REQUIRE enthunasia for people that have been
a) in a coma for 1 year or more
b) no chance of ever recovering, as determined by 3 doctors under 1 motnth

when you finish yuor education, weather it is after High School, College or Grad School, yuo will join the military for 4 years.
socialist culture with subsidies for public works/transport, free healthcare, free food(to a point),etc

taxes average 50-60%(up to 75% for upper 5% rich)

industry split between agricultire(10% pop), manufacturing(20% pop), services including entertainment,(25% pop), goverment duties including military(20%pop), and science (10% pop)

Cut off benefits for the top few percentile of loaders(for ex, health benefits cut for smokers/heavy drinkers/addicts(non mental help benefits cut)/the obese(gyms are freaking free, use it)

good start. I would privatize schools or just have them run by the states, no federal mandates.

Also, I would eliminate health insurance and force a cash based/competitive system.

rap would be illegal.

One appeal and then death penalty served within 30 days. No use dragging it out.

Also, PCness would become illegal

Oh, and hookers and booze for everyone.

I'd make it so you could eke out a decent living being unemployed but then I would allow entertainment and premium goods to drive the workforce. I think it'd be an interesting experiment.

hasn't that already been tried?

nahh im far from being a liberal, but pooring some extra money into the education system for better slaries for better more qualified teachers could not hurt.

Putting a lot of money into a defence system does not make it a great defence, but hey the US has got the best in my vast military knowledge,

would it not be possible to surpass education standards like china's?

Anyway both would pretty much get as much money as needed.....

of course privitization is another idea?
