If you could start your own country today and be in charge of the formation and construction of the goverment ect, what system would you use and what improvements would you make. Lets say you had the same natural resources and land size as the US.

doesnt the world just piss you off so much sometimes the way things are run you wish you could have your own country to prove that your way is better :p? lol

I for one would take action on an idea i have heard a couple times before

Education should be like Defence, tons of time and money dumped into it each day, and still free for all....to be general...

Cut education (which is overrated), cut welfare, increase occupational training, cut politicians, increase defense, minimal taxes.

My birthday would hence forth be known as the National Party Day and the Day after would be Partied Out Day. Both would be considered national holidays.

Ill let all the illegal mexicans cross my borders if the U.S pays me $20 billion a year. Then when I have enough mexicans...ill create an army so HUGE that countries will pretty much surrender just thinking about it.

I would setup a Polity based government.

One has never truly existed, althoug the closest that has come are Churches and the way the congreation basically chooses who will preach to them and also makes decisions on the budget and such. Just like we have now, there would Federal, State, and Local Polities to help even the load. Every piece of legislature would be voted on directly by the citizens. And to accomplish anything the elected officials would definitely have to keep new legisltation to a minimum.

A dictatorship, that promoted being the best and most powerful country, i would be for, and if you dont like it you could gladly leave, of course this is what was behind the NAZI party more or less.

I would definately also promote more unity as a country, i would probably require having to serve in the armed forces after HS for about 2 yrs, then youd be free to go to college ect, which the gov't could pay, which i think could be extremely beneficial to the future of the country in many ways, such as good defence, a sence of unity and country duty, not to mention a lot of young and old people alike that know what is meant by honor and didnity and integrity, and could actually back up some of their opinions on polotics these days.........if you get what im saying..

I've always wanted a place in the world where there was complete anarchy. The only rule enforced is that anarchy must remain, and one group which tries to govern must be disbanded. I'd call in Anarchy Island and it'd be the funnest place on earth

No money in my country, everyone works to improve the way of life of the country and everyone else life and to help each other, i think that's how star trek described it and that's how they progresses further.

The government would completely subsidize a minimal standard of living, including living quarters, food, clothing, etc and control any moderate to large national venture and industry. I'd make it so you could eke out a decent living being unemployed but then I would allow entertainment and premium goods to drive the workforce. I think it'd be an interesting experiment.

Dictatorship. With hookers and blackjack.

In fact, forget the dictatorship.

i would be a dictatorship, with one leader, with a view of the aryanrace being the supreme race, i would then build up a force and then... wait, that was already done and it failed....

i would be a dictatorship, with all the land for me.

There are people who believe so staunchly in anarchy that they think that private 'companies' will take over all aspects of our society. This includes policing.

So, according to that theory, it should be equally dangerous to how the world is now.

I do not agree.

I like your use of the passive voice there. Who would do the disbanding?

Legalize every kind of illegal substance you can ever imagine and tax them like crazy. And of course, dictatorship.

The only thing I know for certain, no fast food joints and there would be national holidays encouraging fitness. No lazy, obese fools in my country.
