"Starter Cartridges" for printers are a cruel, cruel joke.

how many pages willl i get from a "starter" cartitridge? 3? 6 ? 12?

i had to get a cheapo HP from wal-mart for my daughter so she could print out a pamplet for a school project, she did about 4-5 full page color sheets last night, how many more will she get out of it?

Guess I'm uber-fortunate. I just replaced the original HP 45 (Black, 42ml) and 78A (color, 38ml) 'starter' carts on my HP 930C. They lasted for a good two years (or more?), in large part thanks to HP having included the full-size color cart rather than the rinky-dinky 19ml cart that still sells for $30+ bucks in stores. In go the same-sized, half-price remanufactured's from Fry's... helloooooooo China. 😀

She's already running on borrowed time.

I hear Lexmark sells their cartridges cheap.

Are u serious? I always found them to be the most expensive cartridges on the market. I dunno...maybe it's changed in the past year.

agreed - Use third party cartridges for my Z42. REfill kits from OM do not seem to work. Possibly because the last bit of ink dries out sofast that the refill system gets plugged.
