Assassin's Apprentice was a good book. Kind of slow at times but a very enjoyable read.
The Royal Assassin is absolutely outstanding. The development of Fitz has been unbelievable, and it really does a good job of bringing out your emotions. Hate, anger, sadness. Definitely one of the best fantasy books I've ever read (and this is after reading such books as the entire Drizzt series by R.A. Salvatore, the Song of Ice and Fire books by GRRM, and the entire collection of Dragonlance books written by Weis and Hickmann).
I really can't wait till I stop off at Border's to pick up the Assassin's Quest.
