Started playing CCTA: Tiberium Alliances again...

I'm currently replaying C&C Generals but C&C 3 is where the franchise died in my book.

na, i did not play TA:TA; i also left at C&C3.

i liked generals but i hated the zoom (or lack thereof) and by that time, SupCom was out, with Sorian AI as well, so ...

The Tiberium side of the franchise died when Tiberium Sun was the abomination that it was and Red Alert hit it's heights with RA2:YR.

Is this Tiberium Alliances their online only, browser-based nonsense?

oh ... i totally forgot about that.

actually, i DID play tiberium alliances; i was also doing very well, top 10 on my server, and one of the first to have a second lev 10 base.

then i just gave away my account. MASSIVE pay2win wall there. some guy who was n1 was spending god knows how much money on extra turns.

and the whole business model of these games is like that; you have your free to pay noobs who provide some sort of opposition. a few spenders who buy dollars and pennies worth of boosts to maximise fun vs spending.

and then you get a couple morons who splash HUGE amounts of cash, and essentially play vs each other at "who can spend more".
