Started my first fiberglass project today.

Well i had to make kick panels for my car speakers, so i am making tem out of fiberglass.

what kick panels are, they go down by your feet, and you put your speakers in them. i needed to do this as my component system is to deep from my original speakers. well it seems pretty easy so far, just apply resin, apply mat, apply more resin. then repeat a few times.

Cool.I have repaired the bottoms of boats and trucks with fiber glass.

oh i got sum on my skin already. its messy, the mat is messy too. but i am wearing gloves. i will get pics tomorrow when i have the mold pulled out of my car, and a second layer done to it, then i will have pics the further i get into it. i thkn my next project will be my rear bumper (cousin backed into sumtin when she owned the car) then i have to build a custom sub enclosure for my friends s-10 reg cab, that one will be a lot of fun. and i think we both will get quite high there.
