Started lifting weights again, and my veins are started to pop out. Why is that?

I haven't done any weight lifting in a while, but 4 days ago I started lifting again. Now the veins on my hands are starting to protrude. Why do they do that?

You've been lifting for 4 days and you're allready getting ripped?

Sheesh my veins ONLY pop out after a hard workout.

Genetics. Some people have more prominent varicose veins, and some don't... you just happen to be the former.

It's just the veins on the top of my hands, not my biceps or something like that.... I'm by no means ripped.

I always thought it was the extra bloodflow to the hands. Afterall, your hands are gripping the weight.
