Started A Project... Now Uncertain On My Decisions....

I've had a case sitting around for a while, and found a link online of someone turning a PC case into a "mini fridge". It's not necessarily a mini fridge, as much as it is more of just a soda dispenser. It has a fan on the top of the case (Directly above the PSU) and 2 fans in the rear of the case. I assume the creator that I'm taking the design from had ran his fan directly to the PSU but I've decided another approach and have turned 2 fans (so far...) into USB fans. I didn't really think it through when I did it, but now I'm wondering if I can have a USB hub inside the case that is powered off the PSU to power the 2 fans that are USBs. The plans were for a 400w PSU but now, I'll have to go higher, around 500w to ensure that I don't overload the PSU or not have enough power to fully power the USB hub/fans.

Also...
I've decided to place a small desk fan on the front of the case for maximum cooling. It's not a definite decision yet, just thinking it over. Although this will require me to have 2 outlets for my case, one for the PSU and one for the desk fan. Is there anyway I can split the fan's power cord and solder it into one of the PSUs plugs? And if so, I know that will definitely require me to get a larger PSU, 600w+
If I can't I'll just stick with my PC fans (2 in back, 1 on top)..

This is a lot, sorry..
But thanks for taking the time to atleast read it..

200W extra to power a few fans? You're mad! Check the fan's ratings, I'll bet that they don't draw more than a few watts each.

USB power is very limited and not at all related to the capacity of your PSU (within reason). I'd ditch the USB fan idea and just wire them to a molex.

USB isn't the best way to power fans, since they're only going to provide 5V and limited current.

If those fans need 200W... just wow.... they must be some freaking uberfied leaf blowers. I mean, I have one of these industrial-strength air circulating fan thing, and that thing only uses between 50-100W and that's enough to circulate the air in my house.

Lol ok. Thanks guys. This is my first project, and still picking up on hardware information.. I'll desolder the USB from the fans and also, how would I go about running my fans off the PSU?

Grab a couple of these, clip the 3 pin connector off, and solder.
