"2001 Kawasaki Vulcan 500cc Ltd. runs great will go highway speeds, comes with faring and saddle bags, chain drivin. inspected, title on hand 2,500 obo shop manual also included "

This worth the price?
Don't know the miles, but i can find out.
I don't know how to price out a motorcycle, I've done a bit of research online, but thought I'd also post here to see what people think.

Thanks.

Should say "Starter Bike", not "Starte Bike"...go me.

Mileage is pretty important for a bike at the 10 year mark or beyond to know what kind of maintenance it's probably due for - forks, various seals, carbs, etc. 10-15k, solid price. 25k or more, closer to 1500-2k depending primarily on body condition.

Either way, thats a solid first bike.

Cool, thanks guys!
I sent the seller a message asking him a few things about the bike, number of owners, and the mileage.

when I hear back I'll update this thread.

Heard back from the guy.
11,278.5 Miles on the thing, he's not the original owner.
so based on some of the previous posts 2500 is a good price.

Now, i don't have my license, and can't ride thing, is there any way i can get a good feel for the bike? i'd hate to own something that feels off.

or maybe i just wait the three weeks till i take my test and then figure it out from there.

Do you have any friends that ride or know anything about bike mechanics? If so take them with you to checkout and ride the bike (if the owner will let them).

Most owners require you to show up cash in hand before letting you test ride. You break it, you buy it on the spot is the rule.
