Start Up delays...

:disgust: I have Windows Me and my Start Up is experiencing delays when the boot reaches the last two programs: McAfee VirusScan and Zone Alarm. The processor stops and waits 3 times. Any idea why?

This might not be the answer you're looking for, but IMHO I would disable auto start for both those programs and turn them only only when you think you need them.

😎 Problem solved. I uninstalled Zone Alarm and downloaded Tiny Firewall. Tiny loads like a dream AND uses a fraction of the system resources!
