Start Menu Problems in Win2K (fixed)

I just reinstalled win2k on my box and I have run into a snag.

I don't know if I disabled this somewhere, but my start menu items are no longer expanding. Everything is working fine, except I have to click on each item to get it to expand. How can I fix this? I'm sure I just did something stupid.... maybe I will find it.

Thanks in Advance.

is it that personalized menu thing? go to start, settings, taskbar.

in the general tab, uncheck "use personalized menus".

In the same area where you uncheck Use personalized menu's there is a options box below it. In there is where you will find the checkboxes that will expand the items. "Control Panel" for example.

I know about those... that is not the problem.... I'm not having a problem with menu Items expanding, just with them doing it automatically.

This includes menus in applications.... I have to click on the menu Item to get them to expand. It is really getting frustrating. I would hate to have to start over because of this.

I don't know what I did.

haha... I knew it was something really stupid.

It seems that when I installed and set up tweak ui, I accidentally set the menu slider to slow instead of fast....

Thanks to everyone who offered assistance.
