Start Menu change in 2k

Just rebooted my 2k machine and for some reason my start menu is segmented with those little down arrows.. how can I turn 'em off?

Got a little tool tip that basically read that it had hidden the icons that I don't use often, how can I turn that off?

Right-click on the taskbar and select 'Properties'. On the 'Taskbar and Start Menu Properties' box that pops up, uncheck 'Use Personalized Menus'.

go to start, settings and then click on Taskbar and Start Menu.

Make sure you dont have use personalized menus checked.

that should fix the start menu

Thanks to you both, but I actually figured this one out on my own. It astounds me that I was lazy enough to just post instead of look around. I apologize 😛

In IE, Tools | Internet Options dialog, select the Advanced tab. Uncheck the item called "Use Personalized Menus". Hope this helps.
