Russ, Klinux-1.2 is OK with DHCP, that's the one that works with your SMC Ultra chips.

Klinux-1.3 is for 3com, HP PCLAN, EtherWorks & EtherExprees cards that doesn't work right in the DHCP version. (Kernel Panic :Q)

It got late Sat night (3:00am Sun), and I didn't want to stay at the office any longer.

That's why I said get a "Sneak-Peek" in the other thread, I wasn't ready to go public with it yet.

Go try it out again, and let me know.

I still haven't tried D/Ling it in Linux and setting it up, but using the rawrite utility in WinBlow$ worked for the all versions except Klinux-1.3 with DHCP.

Sory for the OT post. Just glad I got my moneys worth out of that card.

Windogg,
No bigger than those CNet PRO120 cards are, they aren't worth much more than $5. :)
Their kind of like a winmodem, let the CPU do all the work.

The CNet PRO120w with wake-on Lan, aren't half bad though, their worth $10. ;)
