Start Button Help

In Win 98, when you right click the Start button, a little menu pops up that lets you select things such as Open, Explore, Find...etc. Is there any way you can remove some of the items on that menu? There are a bunch of other random things on it, such as options to Archive things using WinRAR. I'd rather not have these on the little menu. Thanks.

Edit: Thought you were talking about something different

If you want you can look on hotfiles.com, for a program called TWeekUI, i thin it might let you do that.

If tweakui doesn't do it, get the microsoft policy editor from the ms website. One or the other should do what you want.

Doh, I misunderstood the question.

I wonder what happens if I enqueue in winamp by right clicking on the start menu? Heh

If you want to leave the stuff window's puts there, you can remove the extra stuff programs stick there. You can either popup the menu, right click on the offending icon, and go to delete, or, open up Windows Explorer, go to c:\windows\start menu and the icons should be there as well
