Looks like fun... but i certainly hope there's more than just that 'level' that those 20+ screenshots show.
Wow, standing on a wall and shooting at a never-ending stream of bug things in a desert for a whole game. Sounds boring as crap.
Yes! and it was pretty good IMO. It was lacking in a few areas that really hurt its popularity. I think the lack of multiplayer really killed all interest any people had in it. Graphics were really good too so it was kind of a bummer that they dropped the ball on it.

It also reminds me a lot of the Starship Troopers TC for Duke3D. This is one game I'm still looking forward to. As for the TC, its worth a look if you can find it.

Actually it was Antlion troopers, and unfortunately it lagged like hell. Was really cool, but dang near impossible to beat. You only have about 5 of you...

It felt good but didnt seem to recapture the full feel of the movie or even that cartoon CGI tv series.
The bugs should move a little faster and be a bit more primal in their instincts.
Wasnt impressed by the machine gun sound. Sounded very clunky and stilted.
Graphically, it looks the part. Bugs look like the real thing, terrain and other features look accurate.
Shaping up to be a sweet FPS.

I never understood why they didn't develop some sort of portable vulcan to take care of those bugs. Considering what an A10 can do to an armored tank, just a waving such a weapon back and forth you'd only need one per side of the fort...granted it wouldn't be as fun because there'd be no challenge.
Did you miss the big letters at the beginning of the trailer saying "All the following footage is taken from actual gameplay"?
