I got a chance to sit down with Dylan Jobe, the president of Lightbox Interactive, for 30 minutes at this years E3 and I was really impressed with Starhawk. In fact I feel like people are not excited enough about this game, but that is probably fair because not much has been shown.
What I saw was an already solid looking game, and in almost every department. The graphics are great (despite the fact that Dylan saying there were not where they wanted them yet) and the gameplay was responsive and fun. It has both ground and air vehicles you can jump in, and the ability to call in reinforcements to help mount turrets and stuff looked cool.
It just looks like a fun 3rd-person tower defense shooter.
